SUMMARY:PUC Online Compliance Training - Excavator; Pennsylvania One Call
DESCRIPTION:This three hour on-line WebEx PUC Compliance Training – Excavator is for those persons or companies that were instructed by the Public Utility Commission (PUC) to take PUC certified training. This on-line training covers responsibilities of the Excavator under PA Act 287\, as amended. Topics covered in this session include the APWA color code\, the tolerance zone\, complex projects\, emergency notifications\, prudent excavation techniques\, the AVR process\, CGA Best Practices\, the HDD Good Practices guidelines\, and other excavator-related obligations of PA Act 287\, as amended. The training session has a PUC Compliance Test for attendees. To take the test you must have a DPC case number and be using a computer. (Note: You cannot take the exam on a cell phone or tablet\, i.e. iPad) The exam is proctored and scored by Pennsylvania 811\, and the results are provided to the attendee immediately after taking the exam. This course is equal to 2 PDH for Professional Engineering Training. If you would like a certificate of participation\, please wait 5 days after the event and then login to Pennsylvania 811’s website\, select My Account and then My Participation to print your certificate.\n\nFive days before the training session\, you will receive an email from WebEx i.e. messenger@webex.com requesting that you register for the session. Once registered WebEx will send you a confirmation email with the WebEx session link and password to attend the session. This email will also have the download links for the course material.
