SUMMARY:OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety & Health Course
DESCRIPTION:This is a 30 hour class spread over 4 days: November 18\, 19\, 20\, 21\, 2024 beginning at 7:30am each day. \nThe OSHA Outreach Training Program for the Construction Industry provides training for workers and employers on the recognition\, avoidance\, abatement\, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in the construction industry. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights\, employer responsibilities\, and how to file a complaint. The 10-hour class is intended for entry level workers\, while the 30-hour class is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility. Through this training\, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights\, and contribute to our nation’s productivity. \nOSHA 10 and 30 Hour Training for 2024 PDF Registration Download Here

SUMMARY:Benefits and Challenges of Mentorship in the Construction Industry (free webinar presented by CPWR)
DESCRIPTION:Recently completed research by the University of Washington examined the use of mentorships to prolong the careers of women in the trades\, as discussed briefly in our previous webinar\, Strategies to Recruit and Retain Women in Construction.
