DESCRIPTION:CPWR recently adapted our popular Foundations for Safety Leadership training program to create the Foundations for Safety Leadership for Residential Construction (FSL4Res). The FSL4Res is designed to meet the unique safety issues found in the residential construction sector\, particularly fall hazards\, which remain the sector’s major cause of workplace fatalities. The FSL4Res covers the same content as the FSL\, including critical leadership skills for the job site. SUMMARY:OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety & Health Course
DESCRIPTION:Two day class – 5 hours each June 7 and June 8\, 2022. The OSHA Outreach Training Program for the Construction Industry provides training for workers and employers on the recognition\, avoidance\, abatement\, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in the construction industry. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights\, employer responsibilities\, and how to file a complaint. The 10-hour class is intended for entry level workers\, while the 30-hour class is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility. The program is approved under the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) water and wastewater operators-training program for 3 contact hours. Those attendees who are licensed water and wastewater operators and are in their 3-year license cycle are eligible for continuing education contact hours. Program designed for member facility owners\, locators and municipalities. Event is from 8:30 to 11:30 AM. Please feel free to check in as early as 8:00 AM. Lunch will be served at 11:30 AM.
