MACSC Foundation Safety Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Criteria (Trades)

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
MACSC BACKGROUND

The Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council (MACSC) is a group of like-minded construction safety professionals dedicated to the protection of life and property in the construction industry. Our efforts are directed towards, but not limited to: sharing safety information for our mutual benefits, fostering safety awareness, standardizing safety practices, encouraging cooperation and open communications, providing a resource of knowledge, experience and information and assisting contractors with implementing and maintaining safe work practices.

The MACSC Foundation is sponsoring multiple CASH AWARD scholarships for trades people studying to be a safety or industrial hygiene professional. The scholarships are offered once each year to trade people meeting the eligibility criteria listed below. The award is for the 2026 study year and is written directly to the individual winners to be used to help defray the cost of credits, books, and other costs incurred while in pursuit of a certification. Council has the right to require proof of registration/enrollment/document of intended course cost.

All eligible tradespeople, as outlined in the criteria below, are strongly encouraged to apply. There are no “losers” in this process. Regardless of the outcome of your application, this is an excellent opportunity to introduce yourself to other members of your chosen profession – and to let them get to know you! Your fellow safety practitioners are very much interested in your success and want to help you.

Please note: Completed applications, along with all required documentation, must be postmarked by Thursday, February 26, 2026
